Three (スリー, Surī) is the thirty-sixth chapter of the Nisekoi manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi, published weekly in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Summary[]
Raku is surprised to find Marika to actually be 'Mari'. A flashback plays showing how Raku was able to meet Marika ten years ago when she had to be stuck in the house due to her weak body. The flashback shows that Marika's father asks if Marika she likes Raku which she replies 'yes' to. Her father tries to get Raku to be able to marry Marika which makes her happy.
As the flashback ends and goes back to the present, Marika tells Raku how much she changed to become the girl he wanted her to be and that was able to get through all the boring lessons because Raku was thh one that kept her going. Marika then tells Raku that he doesn't have top force herself to remember her but she wants him to never forget anything about about her from now on. She then kisses Raku on the cheek much to his surprise.
The next day at school, Raku explains to Chitoge and Kosaki that they had actually met each other ten years ago and were pretty close friends. After Chitoge's astonishment at the fact that Kosaki and Marika also have keys like her, Chitoge, Raku, and Kosaki wonder the promise is actually about. Marika tells him that the promise was of marriage much to their surprise. When they ask her the reason of the three keys, she tells them that she actually doesn't know why there are three keys and that she had just found out about for the first time but she dismisses this fact anyway because she states that she's the one Raku truly promised to.
Marika then asks Kosaki if she actually likes Raku. Kosaki remembers the picture that Raku had of Chitoge and denies that she has special feelings for Raku and sees him only as a good friend. As Marika, Chitoge, and Kosaki speak to one another, Raku wonders who the promise girl between the three of them.
