Chapter 117: Stomach Pain (フクツウ, Fukutsuu)
Chitoge calls off a planned beach visit with the rest of the group after Raku suddenly faints from a stomach bug. She visits him five days later at the hospital, and learns that Raku was operated on in order to remove his appendix, and will only be discharged in another three days. After Chitoge leaves, Shu is next to visit, followed by Kosaki, Tsugumi and Marika. All of them visit separately and pass down apples that they peeled themselves. Tsugumi reveals that Chitoge had been depressed ever since Raku fainted. Marika tries to set up a tent in Raku's ward but is told not to. Raku's Shuei associates, as well as Haru and Suzu, also visit later. That night, Raku hears a knock on the window. On the other side is Chitoge who had climbed the hospital building to reach Raku, and pass down an apple as well. Just then, Raku feels pain in his stomach again and calls for medical staff. They do another test on Raku and conclude that he would have to stay for another two days of hospital treatment.

Chapter 118: Nee-san (ネエサン, Nēsan)
Another woman who knows Raku has arrived in Japan from abroad. Meanwhile, it's the last day of summer for Raku and Chitoge. The former suddenly has a thought about Kosaki's picture book that they had seen before. When Chitoge wonders about that book herself, Raku invites Chitoge over to his place because he had borrowed the book from Kosaki. But when they reach the Shuei compound, the Shuei associates are already lined up in formal wear waiting for someone else. They mention that Raku knows this person, but Raku denies it. That person arrives, which Raku recognizes as a big sister. This confuses Chitoge since she knew Raku was an only-child. Raku's father then arrives, and he confirms that their latest visitor, Yui Kanakura, had asked him not to inform anyone about her arrival. Raku is also only then told that Yui, his big sister figure, commands the Char Siu group. Later on, Chitoge listens intently about Raku and Yui's past, and gets a shock upon hearing that Yui kissed Raku before. The day after, Yui appears to Chitoge and Raku's high-school class as their new homeroom teacher. The class appears thrilled, apart from its named students.

Chapter 119: Teacher (センセイ, Sensei)
Raku is surprised to learn that Yui, his new homeroom teacher, knows most of his classmates. Yui also reveals to her class that she's lodging at Raku's, much to the dismay and jealousy of everyone else in the class. Immediately after school, Raku goes to consult his father, who says it was Yui's decision. Raku is also told that Yui will sleep in the room beside Raku's. Raku then helps Yui unpack in said room. Despite Raku's questions, Yui does not give away how she qualified to become a teacher. After the unpacking is done, Yui begins to undress in full view of Raku before her bath, but Raku storms off. During dinner time, Raku sees how welcoming the rest of Shuei are to Yui. But later on at night, when Raku tries to sleep, he notices that Yui had rolled over to his room while asleep, not responding to Raku's objections. Raku then notices a key around Yui's neck.

Chapter 120: Need To Know (シリタイ, Shiritai)
Raku notices that the key around Yui's neck could unlock his locket. In the morning, Yui wakes up and finds herself in Raku's room. Raku, who had not slept the whole night, is not happy that she sleepwalked, but asks about her key anyway, and holds up his locket. Yui recognizes it, and asks about the other keys. Later that day, Yui happens to teach English to Raku's class - Raku is sat at the back wondering how she could act so professionally outside of his home. After said class, Yui has Chitoge, Kosaki, Marika and Tsugumi all stay behind, and reveals her key, much to their shock. Tsugumi then remembers who Yui is herself, and Kosaki asks if Yui knows about a promise made to her eleven years ago. Yui doesn't remember it, but she does remember that Kosaki was very close to Chitoge at the time. To the dismay of both of them, Yui also remembers Chitoge being friends with Marika. Yui then drops the bombshell that she bathed with all of the friend group, and Marika is further ticked off when Yui claims to have found the note Marika wrote about Raku all those years ago. Afterwards, Yui returns home with Raku, complimenting him on his popularity. Yui reveals that she actually does remember the promise Raku made to her, but simply chose not to tell the other girls. Yui then asks if Raku would honor the promise.

Chapter 121: Younger Brother (オトウト, Otōto)
Yui recognizes that whoever Raku likes right now matters to him the most, so when he knows who she is, Yui will tell her what she knows about the promise. For know, she knows that the locket won't open. This leaves Raku confused. The next morning, before class starts, Chitoge remarks that Yui has become popular among not only her students but also the other male teachers that all become jealous of Raku. Yui then suddenly notices that she forgot her lunch. Raku passes it over, but her affectionate response to Raku does not sit well with her students, especially Marika. After school, Yui goes to get changed before going out shopping with Raku. While Raku waits, however, the girl that has been watching Yui's interactions with Raku shows up, introducing herself as Yui's bodyguard Ie and warning Raku of the consequences of hurting Yui. She also informs Raku of the power Yui wields over Char Siu. Afterwards, Raku sees his father and asks why Yui decided to teach at his school. Raku's father says that Raku is all that's left of Yui's family, as all of Yui's blood relations have died. That night, Yui rolls into Raku's room again while asleep. Raku notices but decides to go to sleep himself. Yui wakes up while Raku is still asleep, and admits Raku is more than a brother to her.

Chapter 122: Interview (メンダン, Mendan)
Ninjiro, the previous and now deputy homeroom teacher of Class 2-C, narrates the start of the chapter. He and Yui hold careers meetings with their students. Their first interviewee, Ruri, has her sights set on becoming an interpreter in the future. Ninjiro was assisting Yui because she is new to the school. He recognizes that careers meetings with children of dysfunctional families can be difficult. The next meeting is with Marika and her police chief father, who recognizes Yui, to Ninjiro's shock. They next see Tsugumi and Claude, the latter recognizing the Char Siu group but seemingly unaware that he's meeting its leader. After them, they see Kosaki and her mother, the former still unsure of her own future. Nanako decides that her daughter can succeed her at their sweet shop. After them, Ninjiro and Yui see Chitoge and her father Adelt. Chitoge is also unsure of her future. Adelt wants his daughter to take her time to find her feet. He teases several possibilities, including marriage to Raku. Coincidentally, Raku and his father have their meeting next. Raku aims for a career as a civil servant, therefore he'll go into university. Yui teases the fall-back option of marrying her if he fails his exams. Their departure from the meeting room concluded the day's meetings, and Ninjiro goes out to smoke through a window while mulling over a simple question, just as the students he met, along with their families, are provoked into an altercation at the corridor when Marika runs over to hug Raku again.

Chapter 123: Suitable (ムイテル, Muiteru)
Kosaki goes to Ruri to ask about possible career paths, but is rebuffed. Ruri mentions that Kosaki merely followed Raku to Bonyari High School. She then asks why Kosaki doesn't want to succeed her mother. After hearing Kosaki's answer, Ruri reveals that her dream stems from becoming a critic of foreign books translated into Japanese. Nevertheless, Ruri encourages Kosaki to ask around for ideas. Tsugumi, when asked, provides a detailed analysis of Kosaki that the latter fails to understand. Tsugumi considers a customer-facing role the best fit for Kosaki, and the Onodera sweet shop is one of them. Kosaki isn't satisfied that Tsugumi echoed her mother's desire, thus goes home to look for more ideas through books. The next day, she meets up with Chitoge who is also struggling for career ideas. Chitoge remembers her own mother's memorable line about talent. This leaves Kosaki no closer to her answer, so she retreats to her secret overlook behind an alley. Fortunately, she happens to encounter Raku there, Raku being the only other person to know about Kosaki's secret. Raku claims that he only had a goal because he didn't want the fallback option - he doesn't know what kind of civil servant he wants to be. Raku also knows that Bonyari High is further away from Kosaki's home than a different school she could have gone to. However, he thinks Kosaki doesn't need to worry about her future now, since there's no deadline for figuring out a goal. But then Raku asks what Kosaki dreams of becoming, and Kosaki compulsively answers, "a good wife". Flustered, Raku claims a good wife knows how to cook, but since Kosaki can't cook, she should marry a man who can. They part ways, and Kosaki takes this meeting as a chance to improve her cooking. But when she returns home and asks to cook, both Nanako and Haru quickly make excuses to not have dinner that night.

Chapter 124: Lady (レディー, Redī)
Claude assigns Paula and Tsugumi on another espionage mission. They are to disguise as a male-female couple, infiltrate the cruise being attended by an enemy mafia leader named Secacchino, and steal confidential documents from him. However, on the evening the cruise ship leaves dock, Paula rules herself out of the mission after suffering from food poisoning. Tsugumi quickly finds Raku close to the dock, who had been fishing at the time, and gets him to cover for the male role of her mission while she covers for Paula. They sneak onto the cruise ship just as it departs. After finding that their disguises don't fit, they go into the cruise ship's boutiques for new clothes before proceeding to eavesdrop on Secacchino. Raku recognizes some famous names alongside. Nevertheless, he goes with Tsugumi to chat with the socialite couples surrounding Secacchino. But when Raku makes it clear that Tsugumi is his, the socialites lose interest and leave. Raku and Tsugumi soon discover Secacchino at the cruise's casino, mingling with women dressed in bunny costumes.

Chapter 125: Girls... (オンナハ, On'naha)
Tsugumi has to overcome her most embarrassing moment yet, by putting on a bunny costume and appearing before the target of her espionage mission, mafia leader Secacchino carrying top-secret data on a disk. While she does get close to the target, she doesn't get enough time to steal the disk, and Secacchino leaves. Although Raku helps to buy appropriate costumes for Tsugumi to change into, including a swimsuit for the pool and a qipao for the throne room, Secacchino gets away both times. The third time, Tsugumi changes into a waitress outfit and serves Secacchino at a gourmet restaurant, only for him to recognize her as the Beehive's Black Fang. As a result, Secacchino's subordinates surround Tsugumi and Raku at gunpoint. Secacchino admits his surprise that Black Fang is actually female. Thus, he decides to let Raku and Tsugumi go if they strip naked in front of him. While Tsugumi submits, Raku stops her and throws a verbal tirade at Secacchino. He then urges Tsugumi to finish the job. They are helped by Paula's cannon-shaped intervention from the harbor. As a result, Tsugumi fights off Secacchino's subordinates single-handedly, before taking out Secacchino herself and stealing his disk. She and Raku evacuate through a glass wall in the cruise ship and fall in the water. As they swim back to the harbor, Tsugumi admits that Raku stood up for her, and smiles. This unsettles Raku, while the watching Paula sniggers at the scene.

The end of the volume contains a special strip detailing Ie's eyewitness account of how Yui became leader of the Char Siu group.
